Actor-producer Shreyas Talpade's “Poshter Boyz” has become the first Marathi movie to get a Google Hangout.

One of the most successful online tools, Google Hangouts have been increasingly used by Bollywood and even politicians to directly interact with their target audiences.

The focus of the “Poshter Boyz” Google Hangout was questions surrounding the movie, which recently launched its theatrical trailer, along with Shreyas' decision and experience on turning a hands-on producer.

In the interactive hangout session, Shreyas, apart from answering questions related to the trailer and his decision to turn producer also spoke at length about the music of the movie.

Lesle Lewis has composed music for the movie, another first for Marathi cinema.

The highlight of the soundtrack is the opening number, which features a fusion of a romantic melody, Lavani and a bhajan and is designed to introduce the three principal characters of the movie played by Dilip Prabhavalkar, Aniket Vishwasrao and Hrishikesh Joshi.

Meanwhile, "Poshter Boyz" trailer got an overwhelming response on the official Affluence Movies Youtube channel as it touched 1.5 lakh views within four days of its release, said a statement.

Shreyas said that “Poshter Boyz” is about three ordinary people who find their pictures on a poster promoting vasectomy and how that error changes their lives around.

Being produced under Shreyas's banner Affluence Movies Private Limited and co-produced by Hadi Ali Abrar, the film has been directed by Sameer Patil.

It was been shot across real locations across Western Maharashtra.

“Poshter Boyz” is set to hit the screens Aug 1.

Bollywood's ace choreographer Saroj Khan has roped in Aditi Rao Hydari to do a special song for Mrinal Kulkarni's Marathi period film "Rama Madhav".

Saroj Khan had earlier choreographed Aditi in one of her southern films and the latter felt that the actress is a perfect choice for the song keeping in mind her “classic beauty” and her training in “classical dance”, said a statement.

Set in the 17th century, based on the love story of legendary warrior of Maratha empire Peshwa Madhavrao and his wife Ramabai, the film has historic, old world appeal.

"The characters, their clothes, etc are all exactly like it was in the 17th century. Given this, Aditi's special song showcases her in a beautiful classic lehanga-choli with exquisite gold jewellery, right from the maang teeka to the round nose rings,” said a source.

“Keeping the look in mind and the fact that she needed a beautifully trained classical dancer, Sarojji immediately requested Aditi to do the song and the actress was happy to do it. Her classic beauty coupled with the fact that she's a trained classical dancer, all the pieces just fit in beautifully,” the source added.

Saroj Khan is known for bringing out the best in some of the dancing divas of Bollywood including Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

After hit Bollywood number “Baby Doll”, Meet Bros Anjjan and singer Kanika Kapoor have now teamed up for “Love Letter” for “The Legend of Michael Mishra”.

Composed by Meet Bros Anjjan and sung by London-based singer Kanika, who is an Indian Punjabi Sufi folk singer, "Baby Doll", which was picturised on Indo-Canadian adult film actress Sunny Leone for the movie "Ragini MMS 2", became a chartbuster.

I've never had a girlfriend: Armaan Jain

Newcomer Armaan Jain's debut film is ready to take off but his love life is yet to begin. The 23-year-old confesses that he has never been in a relationship, probably due to his weight.

The grandson of late actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor is set to make his acting debut with Arif Ali's "Lekar Hum Deewana Dil" and said that girls were probably not attracted to him as he was fat.

"I've never had a girlfriend. It sounds very funny but I haven't. I don't know why. It was probably because I was around 95 kilos, so no one probably looked at me. After that also, all the girls I knew made me their brother. They tied me rakhi.

"And I started working very young. I was focused. I didn't have time to go out also," Armaan, who assisted filmmaker Karan Johar when he was a teenager, told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.

If not for girlfriend's sake, the son of investment banker Manoj Jain and Raj Kapoor's daughter Rima, chose to cut down on fat to become an actor.

"I was really fat. I wanted to pursue acting. I realised that I had to stop eating at some point and get serious with gymming and diet," said the football lover.

Armaan, who left business management course midway to build a career in the film industry, says his weight fluctuates often.

"Before going to college I had lost weight. I put on 12 kg again and then I lost again. It's been going up and down. My lowest was 66 kg. I put on weight and then I lose.

"It's like music. I have personal best after every two weeks. My favourite was 'Khalifa' and now it's 'Mawwali qawwali'. My weight fluctuates every week," said Armaan, who was the student of London's Regents College.

Being related to the Kapoor family of Bollywood might seem like a life full of movies and songs, but he says that it wasn't so.

"Growing up was not filmy or watching too many films. Coming from an investment banking background, for me it was more of watching stock markets than films. It was more of watching sports than movies. For me, it was never about taking tips or advices. It's about discovering myself," said Armaan.

His decision to quit education and join the film industry came as a surprise to his parents but they were proud of him and supportive.

"I was nervous before telling my parents. They never thought I would take this decision. They were anxious as in how will I learn the craft.

"But they have been very supportive. They told me to follow my passion and that they would back me up as long as I work hard," he said.

"Lekar Hum Deewana Dil", also featuring Deeksha Seth, is set to release July 4.
