Director Sonam Nair of "Gippi" fame is now writing a script, which is an adaptation of the novel "The Zoya Factor".
"Post 'Gippi', I'm writing a script which will be directed by some other director. The script that I am writing it's an adaptation of the novel 'The Zoya Factor'," Nair told IANS.
"Gippi" was backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, but Nair says her next movie will be produced under a different banner. She was guarded about other details.
"Right now I can't name the director who will be directing it," she said.
"The Zoya Factor" is a 2008 novel by Anuja Chauhan.
Meanwhile, Nair is also planning and penning her second directorial.
"I am also scripting my next film and for sure it's going to be a comedy film. I'm waiting to get a go ahead from Karan Johar for that film. Most probably I will finish scripting by end of this year and will start shooting by next year," she said.
