Actor Vinay Pathak, who so far has impressed the audience with his superb comic timing, will make a serious appearance in the upcoming comedy "Bajatey Raho".
"I am not playing a comic character in the film. It's a very serious role. I have the most serious character in the film," Vinay said here in an interview.
So far, the VJ-turned-actor has tickled the viewers' funny bone with his roles in "Khosla Ka Ghosla", "Bheja Fry" and "Chalo Dilli", among others.
Directed by Shashant Shah, "Bajatey Raho" is a comic-thriller and it'll have funny moments, but Vinay won't be seen indulging in any of it and would feature as a no-nonsense kind of a person.
"Neither I have tried to make you (audience) laugh nor have tried to offer comedy. All other characters (in the film) may look comic to you, but my character is not at all comic," he said.
Also starring Tusshar Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Ravi Kishan and Dolly Ahluwalia, it is coming out July 26.
