Telugu actor Havish, who turned 27 Tuesday, will spend his birthday with family and close friends here.
"I generally don't celebrate my birthday. I like to spend it at home with my parents. I have been doing this for many years, and I will do it again this year. I may also catch up with close friends later in the evening," Havish told IANS.
Last year was unsuccessful for Havish, whose most anticipated Telugu film "Genius" turned out to be a disaster.
"It was very unfortunate but I don't want to think about it. I have a busy year ahead with two films in my kitty. I will start working on them soon and I'm also entering other industry with a big banner's film," he said.
Havish has been roped in to feature in a yet-to-be-titled trilingual to be produced by the brother of a leading Tamil producer. The film will be simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
While his Telugu film with veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao is in the pipeline, another project in the same language with writer-director Chinni Krishna is likely to be finalised soon.
"I'm hoping to have an exciting and busy year. I'm venturing into new industries and I'm keen to learn new languages," said Havish.
He has been doing one film a year because he doesn't want to "end up doing films with no soul. I want to do meaningful films, and I don't mind waiting in the process".
