Its take on patriarchy and the family system breaks new ground, making the story both universal and uniquely personal at the same time. The aim is to get it out there, reaching out to a larger world cinema audience, for a view into an India as yet unknown. I am happy that Guneet is on board to assist us in achieving that."

Titli is a very special film for us, as it's a departure from making big budget event films, which have allowed us to break new ground in non-traditional territories with our mainstream films. We’re positive that Titli will only push that endeavor in to more markets. We are delighted to have Guneet on Titli, exploring a wider audience beyond the diaspora. Guneet's expertise with her films internationally coupled with YRF's distribution networks of over 50 International territories across the globe will ensure that the film breaks further ground."
