Ajay Bahl, who debuted as a director with neo noir film "B.A. Pass", will now wield the megaphone for a murder mystery, inspired by a Japanese novel.
The film is tentatively titled "Informer".
"I am scripting a film, which is inspired by a Japanese novel. It's basically a murder mystery and I am thrilled about the project," Bahl told IANS.
"We will start shooting by March 2014 and the film is tentatively titled 'Informer'," he added.
Bahl, who had teamed up with Shilpa Shukla and Shadab Kamal for "B.A. Pass", described by critics as a stark, brutal portrayal of seduction and betrayal, is yet to decide on the cast of his new film.
"We have not decided about the cast. We are still working on that," he added.
