Filmmaker Sekhar Kammula is so impressed with upcoming Telugu drama "Minugurulu" that he wants the government to screen the film in schools.

He also admits that he wouldn't dare to make a film like that.

Directed by debutant Ayodhya Kumar, "Minugurulu" is about a blind 14-year-old orphan, who, with the help of other orphans, makes a documentary.

"It's a powerful film. I wouldn't dare to even attempt a film like that. Kudos to the director and I wish the government screens this film in schools. It will be a great source of inspiration for young school children," Sekhar told IANS.

"I also wish films like these get a wide theatrical release. As much as we need entertaining commercial films, we occasionally need a creative film like 'Minugurulu' too," he added.

The film, which is slated to release soon, also features Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Raghuvir Yadav and Deepak in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Kammula is busy wrapping up Tamil-Telugu bilingual "Annamika", a southern remake of Vidya Balan-starrer "Kahaani".
